Organizing Jewelry

After our move to Wichita, I realized just how unorganized I have been with my jewelry. If you knew me personally, you would have never guessed that I could be capable of this. So I decided to get serious and do something about it.

A few weeks ago, I was browsing around Etsy and found this awesome Combination Hanging Jewelry Organizer from SpiritRanchCreations. If you have never heard of their shop, you can find it here.

There are lots of knobs and slots on this organizer for all of your jewelry - from earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and I even used some of the knobs for my rings! This is very practical and useful - a great gift idea even!

And another great thing about this organizer? They have 5 different stains to choose from - so you know that your piece is made just for you!

See the end result? It is so wonderful to have all of my pieces together and visible. I'm very excited about this organizer. (:

November Birchbox

My very first Birchbox came in the mail a few days ago, and it was an exciting experience for me! For those of you unfamiliar with Birchbox, it's a subscription that sends you 4-5 samples of beauty products to try out every month. The best part? It's only $10.00 with free shipping! Thats a great deal. Plus, when you subscribe it will ask you to fill out a beauty profile - and they send you products based on your answers. Very neat, right?! After receiving/using your monthly products, you can go onto their website, fill out reviews, and get free beauty reward points to use towards the purchase of other products.

It's an awesome deal, guys. Especially if you like to try lots of new and different things! Here is what came in my box this month...

See how cute the box is? It's like opening a present on Christmas morning! Now that's something to get excited about!

Each box comes with a card explaining in detail each product that's included for the month, along with the price for the full size item - available on their website!

My favorite item is the beautiful denim/shimmery nail polish (I've already treated myself to a mani/pedi and LOVE it). The Kate Spade perfume smells amazing, and that hair tie definitely comes in handy with my long, thick hair! The Jouer lip plumper/moisturizer is also a favorite - especially with the windy, cold weather outside!

Blogs I Love

Ok, so I know I've been super lazy the past week. Very sorry! As I've said before, we JUST moved to Kansas so I have been SUPER busy! I do however take some time out of my day to catch up on some of MY favorite blogs today. Again, I'm new to blogging - so I KNOW there is a plethora of talented bloggers I'm missing out on. But these have my interest for the time being:

Family Night

So, this is my very first blog post! I am new to this whole thing, and I have no idea where it will take me.

So, my husband and I just moved to Wichita, Kansas from Texas! Yes, Texas. It has been a fairly easy adjustment overall. The hardest part to cope with is the HUGE temperature drop/weather change. I mean, it was ALWAYS sunny and 90-100 degrees in Texas, and DRY! Here, you actually get to enjoy the seasons changing (we love that about Kansas because it feels more like home - Tennessee, where we are both from). It is SO beautiful here - leaves changing, grass, trees. Ahh. :) I promise to post pictures soon.

Anyways, seeing as how we are still unpacking - aka, stuff EVERYWHERE - I decided to order in tonight. I know, I know. I am not really being the model wife, BUT I have cooked a few meals this past week that we have been here. So tonight I need a little break - my choice? Domino's pizza! Domino's is awesome! They now have the convenience of ordering ONLINE! You can even pay for your order online - just sign the receipt when they deliver to your door. PLUS - they have plenty of coupons you can use. I went with 2 large, 1 topping pizzas, cheesy bread, and a 2-liter Coke for only $22.99! Easy clean-up too! :)

Happy Thursday!
